Fairview Hostel (for girls only)
Residential Hostel:
The Hostel is open to students of all nationalities and religions. Candidates who desire hostel accommodation must indicate this in the space specified in the college Application Form. A separate application for hostel accommodation should be made in theĀ Hostel Application Form (available from the office) after getting admission in the college.
Hostel Mess:
A caterer handles the food services. The present mess fee per month is Rs. 950/- for Vegetarian meal and Rs. 1000/- for Non-Vegetarian meal. Mess fee is liable to periodic revision. Payment is made in the bank at the beginning of each month (latest by 15th) by cash, along with the hostel fees.
Hostel Rules:
- All the hostellers are held responsible to the Principal for their conduct in the hostel and in public. The Director is the immediate hostel-in-charge. He is assisted by student councilors who are authorized to control the conduct of the hostellers both in the outside the hostel.
- Students must bring their own bed linen, blankets and personal effects.
- Hostellers whose attendance is poor or who fail repeatedly in tests or who show a persistent disinclination to study will be asked to withdraw.
- Serious misconduct or habitual violation of rules will be sufficient reason for expulsion.
- The Hospital Insurance Scheme covers hospitalization in the Planters' Nursing Home. Minor ailments are treated in the school infirmary where dose medicine in also supplied. However, all courses of injections, prescriptions and patent medicines, dentist feels, etc. will be billed as incurred.
